The eyewitnesses from western countries at the international military tribunal

After the war ,two International Military Tribunal were set up:in Nurnberg,Germany and in Tokyo,Japan to uphold justice,safeguard peace of human beings and punish the war criminals.The Nurnberg International Military Tribunal was to try the Nazi war criminals;and the Far EastInternational Military Tribunal in Tokyo was to try the Japanese war criminals.A total of twenty-eight A-class war criminals were brought to the court.This is the outdoor scene of the Far EastInternational Military Tribunal.

The Judges at the trial podium of the Far EastInternational Military Tribunal were listening to the testimonies.The jury was made up of eleven judges from the United States,Britain,France,China,the Soviet Union,the Netherlands,Canada,New Zealand,Australia,India and the Philippines.Sitting in the center was Dr.Mei Ruao from China.To his right was Sir William Webb from Australia who served as President of the Tribunal,and on his left was Major General for Justice I.M Zaryanov from the Soviet Union.
