Burials of victims by charity and burial groups(1)

Work report of Nanjing Red Cross Committee in June 1938 recorded that in the 6 months' period from December 1937 to May 1938,burial teams of the committee had buried 22,371 corpses in the districts of Xiaguan and Heping Gate.Above is a photograph of some team members after one day's work.





Statistics charts for No.1 and No.2 burial teams from January to May and from January to March 1938.(The authentic album is now kept in the Second Historical Archive Museum of China.)
